You know the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves? Of course you do. Princess with hair as black as midnight, lips as red as blood… it’s a tale that’s been told time and time again. That’s the beauty of fairy tales, they’re memorable, they have a great story, and sometimes they even teach us something.

Once upon a time, I was born in a magical world known as Ohio. After moving to the Sunshine State at age 5, I lived in Florida for 26 years, then came back to the Cincinnati, Ohio area, where I live now. For 10 years I worked in bookstores throughout my college years, helping adults and kids find their happily ever after. I guess you could say that I’ve always embraced story and the path toward telling a good one.

I graduated from Florida State University with a B.A in English and a Master’s in Corporate and Public Communications. I then went to work at the bookstore again. Story called me to yet again, and let’s be honest, I graduated in Florida right in the middle of the recession. All good heroines have their trials, however. Stints in law offices and real estate marketing followed, and then I discovered that my love of blogging and story needed to converge. Ahearn Creative was born.

Four years and multiple clients later, I have found that I still don’t get tired of story. I work for a Fairy tale website (yes, really!) as their editor, creating webpages, ebooks, blog posts and other content. It was natural, as I’ve been collecting fairy tale books for years, and have loved these wonderful transformative stories. I also help businesses and brands transform their stories.
